Vedic mathematics is a ancient system of mathematics discovered by Swami Sri Bharati Krisna Tirthaji Maharaja (Sankaracharya of Govardhana Matha, Puri, Orissa,India).
It’s a unique technique of calculations based on simple principles and rules , with which any mathematical problem - be it arithmetic, algebra, geometry or trigonometry can be solved mentally.
There are total 16 sutras and there sub sutras on which this method is based. Research shows that the application of Vedic mathematics makes use of both parts of the brain.
